Review of 2014 – Happy New Year!
On behalf of all employees of Main Capital Partners, we wish you a healthy and successful 2015!
2014 was again a successful year for Main Capital Partners. A record number of transactions has been realized, the team has been expanded and we have organized exciting events. The Main Corporate Finance team has moved to Amsterdam and in addition we have started a new activity: Main Mezzanine Capital. The sectors in which we are active, such as software, IT and media and entertainment have been characterized by strong (international) growth in the past years. We expect this trend to continue in 2015. We would like to share the highlights with you in this overview.
In 2014, three portfolio companies were added to investmentfund Main Capital III. With this new investment, the portfolio has grown. Main Capital will focus on the following topics during the investment period: further internationalization of the business, expanding partner networks and improve higher profitability through recurring revenues.
The Main Insight Event and the Main Software 50 were again a success in 2014 with a record number of participants. These two events we will again be organized next year. In addition to these yearly events, last year we have introduced the Main Healthcare event and the Main CTO event. This time the events were organized solely for our portfolio companies, but perhaps that will change in the future. Check our website for more information!
