Alfa eCare, a Nordic software provider for the private and public healthcare market, today announces the acquisitions of 2Bra System AB and Selfpoint AB. 2Bra System delivers solutions for the public labour assistance market while Selfpoint provides a low code platform for workflow and process management solutions. The combinations will strengthen the groups position within the Swedish welfare market while simultaneously improving the international growth prospects of the group. The acquisition was supported by Main Capital Partners (“Main”).

2Bra System, founded in 2008, is focused on providing municipalities and companies with software for quality assurance and goal- and process management. Today the company services over 100 municipalities in their work with labor market efforts, practice management, rehabilitation and municipal operations.

Selfpoint, founded in 2015, has grown into a market leader when it comes to digitization of workflow and process management for mainly public institutions. With a comprehensive and flexible solution the Selfpoint platform can be used in multiple parts of the value chain, starting from the process planning to the execution and follow-up and deviation reporting.

Alfa Group, a leading welfare software provider in the Nordics

2Bra System & Selfpoint becomes the sixth and seventh acquisition by Alfa eCare, since Main Capital Partners became majority owners of the group in March 2020. Considering the complimentary nature of the products, Alfa group strengthens its ability to service its clients with an improved value proposition towards the welfare market. Alfa group currently services over 1.300 customers in the public as well as the private sector, which today includes players such as Humana, Previa, Tandea, Pilke and St Lukas, Region Skåne and Värmland and the municipalities of Joensuu, Hämeenlinna, Nacka and Stockholm Stad.

Albert Winter, Managing Director at Alfa Group, commented: “The combination with 2Bra System and Selfpoint creates a lot of value and possibilities for our joint customer base as well as strengthens our positioning in the market as the end-to-end strategic software partner in the care market. We look forward to building an innovative and successful future together with the teams at 2Bra and Selfpoint.”

A good home for 2Bra System

Bengt Eriksson, Founder and former CEO at 2Bra, adds: “We at 2Bra System have had a fantastic journey since the start in 2008 and the combination with Alfa eCare gives us the opportunity to further strengthen our offering towards our customers. Step one is completed, now we take step two together with Alfa eCare.”

The start of a new journey

Mathias Hansson & Kristian Lindsjö, Co-founders at Selfpoint, adds: “It has been an amazing journey to start Selfpoint and help our customers digitize their businesses. We see the combination with Alfa eCare as a natural development to offer a stable base and a long-term plan to support our customers with digitization. We will, together with Alfa eCare, continue to develop Selfpoint to offer even better digitization opportunities for our, and Alfa eCare’s, customers.”

Wessel Ploegmakers, Partner and co-Head of the Nordics office at Main, added: “These combinations marks an important step on the exciting growth journey of Alfa eCare. The addition of Selfpoint and 2Bra System will strengthen the group’s solution portfolio and value proposition towards future and existing clients. Together the joint group is well positioned to leverage the existing product suite to further expand to other Nordic countries while maintaining a local touch through expanding and developing the product offering both organically and by acquisitions.”
