Enovation is increasing its ability to support collaboration in the healthcare and (semi-) public sector through the strategic acquisition of solution provider MULTIsignaal and its parent company Center for Public Innovation (CPI). The takeover creates an organization that reaches more than 250,000 healthcare professionals.
Since it was established in 2006, MULTIsignaal has positioned itself as the leading sponsor of the Reference Index in the Netherlands. The company offers a solution that makes it possible for healthcare professionals who are concerned about the same young people (<23 years) to connect with each other. MULTIsignaal has a leading position in the market and currently serves 267 Dutch municipalities, where various types of healthcare providers are affiliated, including certified institutions (formerly Bureau Jeugdzorg), general practitioners, schools, community teams, mental health institutions and addiction care institutions.
The combination of Enovation and MULTIsignaal means that professionals who want to work together can do this even more easily and safely in the future. The products of both companies are very complementary to each other. Because the combination is strong in both care and welfare in the semi-public sector, and in the medical care domain, a unique combination is created here that is ready to support future legislation in the field of social support. The combination serves all municipalities in the Netherlands.
Jeroen van Rijswijk (CEO Enovation): “Enovations services focus strongly on healthcare. Increasingly, there is intensive collaboration between healthcare and other aspects of the social domain. Care is increasingly provided in a home situation. The role of the client is changing, including contact with and between caregivers.
For the users of Enovation and MULTIsignaal, the communities of 24,000 healthcare organizations, more than 250,000 healthcare providers and more than 300 municipalities will be merged, with the aim of offering secure information exchange. This merger creates a unique and distinctive combination that simplifies the work of many thousands of end users.
Rene Rentinck (Partner MULTIsignaal): “In recent years, the municipalities working together within MULTIsignaal have ensured that cooperation in youth care came about faster and easier. By merging with Enovation, the MULTIsignaal community will be even better connected to the medical domain, and opportunities will arise to make the exchange of data faster and safer in the future. With this new combination, in which “privacy by default” is the norm and in which the citizen is involved in the collaboration, we make coordination normal again.
