Main Capital has acquired a majority interest in Roxit, a leading Dutch software company that provides solutions in the areas of licensing, supervision and enforcement and planning. Main Capital invests in profitable, well-established product software companies in the Benelux and Germany. In terms of size, this is the biggest deal in the history of Main Capital Partners. Post-closing a management participation will be considered.
About Roxit
Roxit, founded in 2007, is a software company operating in the Netherlands with offices in Zwolle, Arnhem and Zoetermeer. It currently employs over 90 employees. Around 380 customers are served ranging from municipalities, regional agencies, water boards and provincial governments to companies. Examples include the municipalities of Utrecht, Haarlem, Tilburg and Maastricht, Environmental Department Haaglanden and the province of Overijssel. By using Roxit’s software, these customers have complete control over the process of licensing, inspection and enforcement. Customers who use the software, work more efficiently which results in a better services towards their customers, citizens and businesses. Besides the above mentioned solutions, Roxit also ensures that in the field of area planning all the complexity can be overseen by both governments and businesses so that they can work together more effectively. With the system and the various combinations of other Roxit products, all sorts of processes are embedded and the customers are care-free in their work. Characteristic of Roxit is that they actually have knowledge of the field for which they supplies software.
