HENGELO – Zaaksysteem.nl, software specialist in the field of case management for Dutch government organizations, joins forces with Exxellence Groep, portfolio company of Main Capital. The acquisition is the first step in the buy-and-build strategy to form strategic combinations with strong entrepreneurs in the government market to strengthen the product offering and added value to public customers and provide a sustainable and innovative alternative to the larger players in the market. Open source policies among customers and the current Common Ground trend are the driving forces behind the new combination.
About Zaaksysteem.nl
Zaaksysteem.nl was founded in 2009 and is located in Amsterdam. The company has over 30 employees and serves more than 50 customers throughout the Netherlands, with small and medium-sized municipalities being the main target group. This differs from Exxellence Groep, which mainly serves larger municipalities and other public bodies. Examples of customers of Zaaksysteem.nl are the municipality of Alkmaar, the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden and the municipality of Hof van Twente.
Zaaksysteem.nl enables its customers to work in a case-oriented way, through its own management system, as well as by providing a broader offering through delivering specific functionalities through partnerships.
Cooperation Zaaksysteem.nl – Exxellence Groep
Together Zaaksysteem.nl and Exxellence Groep have a strong management team and both companies combined cover a large part of the Dutch municipalities and (semi-) public organizations. The acquisition of Zaaksysteem.nl is a first step in the strategy of Exxellence Groep and Main Capital to further develop and expand the product portfolio within the Dutch (semi) governmental market, as well as to optimize the added value towards customers. The combined company will also keep looking at further strategic combinations with software companies in the Dutch government market, to further expand the product range and added value to its customers and to offer a sustainable and innovative alternative to the larger players in the market. Main builds on the experience gained in this market with former portfolio company Roxit. Both organizations will functionally strengthen each other, with excellent customer service being the starting point.
