Main Capital has acquired a majority stake in eHealth software group Alfa Kommun & Landsting AB and Safe Care Svenska AB, together referred to as Alfa.
Alfa was founded in 1998 and is based in Malmö, Sweden. The group is a recognized eHealth software company, providing solutions to both public and private healthcare providers, employing close to 40 employees and serves more than 400 customers throughout Sweden. Alfa’s broad offering includes both complete information systems and niche products, such as solutions for journaling, electronic prescription, medication management and care planning. The digital transition of the healthcare sector and an ageing population pose big challenges for the public and healthcare sectors, with Alfa’s products tailored towards supporting these clients in overcoming such challenges while optimizing their daily routines in the process.
