After winning the “Best Rising Star Benelux LBO Fund Award” in 2013, Main Capital Partners managed to obtain the “Special Distinction Best LBO Fund Benelux Award” this year. The award was given to Charly Zwemstra, Managing Partner, during the Private Equity Exchange & Award ceremony on December 4th in Paris (France).

Among the nominees were Waterland Private Equity Investments, Egeria, Gimv and Gilde Equity Management. The Private Equity Exchange with more than 1,200 Limited Partners, General Partners and corporates, is the largest and most prestigious international Private Equity & Restructuring Conference in Europe. The jury were renowned fund-of-fund investors including e.g. Access Capital Partners, Akina Partners, AlpInvest Partners, OFI Asset Management, LGT Capital Partners, Rothschild and BlackRock Equity Partners. Main Capital Partners won this award after closing several successful deals this year for their Main Capital III fund. Added to the Main Capital III fund are: ChainPoint (SaaS-based Supply Chain Monitoring Software), RVC (Healthcare imaging and workflow support software) and TPSC (SaaS-based Healthcare software (GRC)). Besides that, we have done some successful exits like IASO and Actuera in previous years. In 2015, Main Capital Partners will introduce their 4th fund; Main Capital IV which will have a fund size of EUR 75-100 million. Charly Zwemstra (Managing Partner, Main Capital Partners), is also nominated for Best Venture Capital Manager of the M&A Awards 2014, which will take place on December 11, 2014 in Amsterdam.
