Main Capital realizes successful exit of VisionWaves

We are pleased to announce the sale of 100% of VisionWaves BV to the Swedish stock-listed company IFS AB. VisionWaves is a majority investment of private equity fund Main Capital II together with venture capitalist TIIN.

VisionWaves developed a unique ‘Operational Intelligence’ platform (OI), enabling large companies to manage their operations more intelligent and effectively. Recently, Gartner defined VisionWaves as a frontrunner and a leader in new the OI software segment. The company employs 35 people, and is based both in Zeist, the Netherlands (HQ), and in Colorado, United States.

Groundbreaking technology led to a software platform which connects the operational execution directly to the strategic- and tactical goals of the company. VisionWaves aims at large corporate clients that need to manage several challenges at the same time. Complex industries such as aviation, banks and insurance companies, mining industry, and the oil & gas industry use the technology of VisionWaves.

The current client-base consist of entities such as: Serco, FlyEmirates, Dodsal ,ING, Rabobank and Achmea. VisionWaves was able to deliver significant efficiency- and performance improvements for all of these clients. Behind the screens important programs such as Obamacare are managed and monitored with aid of VisionWaves products.

IFS is  listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (IFS-B.ST) and a  provider of business software for enterprise resource planning (ERP), enterprise asset management (EAM) and enterprise service management (ESM). In 2014 the company reported  revenue  of EUR 320 million and serves over 2.400 clients worldwide with 2.700 employees.
