The software provider for the banking and insurance industry b+m Informatik, in which Main Capital holds a majority stake, has joined forces with engram GmbH as part of its growth strategy. Main Capital has actively supported b+m Informatik in this transaction. Henceforth, the business activity will be continued in both companies in the usual and unchanged form. Both companies have been consolidated under the umbrella of a joint holding company.
With this step, both companies combine their product portfolio to tap into new target markets and strengthen long-term customer relationships. The offer will include IT solutions and services ranging from front-end to the back-end solutions for financial services companies. Together, both companies understand themselves as one-stop-shop supporting digitalization strategies as a reliable IT partner with strategic advice and products. Both companies are deeply integrated in the Sparkasse-Finanzgruppe, among others.

About b+m Informatik AG
B+m Informatik AG has been advising and supplying banks and insurance companies with consulting and software for more than 20 years. The company, headquartered in Melsdorf, employs around 90 people and operates in the DACH area. The focus of the banking segment is active business, with an application for advising and processing any credit support programs – fully integrated into the system landscape of a credit institution. The insurance area offers solutions for composite stock management, components for sales platforms as well as special solutions in the bAV segment. The technical core expertise of b+m Informatik is the engineering department, which is particularly active in the field of model-driven software development.

With its headquarters in Bremen, engram GmbH has been well-positioned in the software and IT market since 1990 and employs around 45 people. The company provides innovative software product solutions and consulting services for the financial services and hospitality market. Next to solutions for digital learning to support personnel development and change management processes, the product portfolio includes various innovative multichannel marketing products. engram is a certified development partner of the data processing center of the savings bank organization and, with its front-end expertise focusing on customer & user engagement, complements the technical and technical skills of b+m.
