RVC, the Enterprise PACS software provider for hospitals and laboratories in the Benelux has joined forces with German-based Allgeier Medical IT GmbH (‘AMIT’) as part of its international growth strategy. Main Capital has actively supported RVC in this transaction. Together, the two companies employ over 70 FTE and will grow towards EUR 10 million in revenues.
This strategic step creates a strong West-European player that is able to support laboratories, clinics, physicians and hospitals in both the Benelux and DACH market. Both companies will continue to exploit their activities and serve their clients independently in a similar fashion as before the transaction.
The combination of both companies significantly strengthens the product portfolio, development power and customer support teams in order to strengthen long-term customer relationships. The new group will be able to provide a one-stop-shop supporting digitalization strategies in radiology (PACS I) as well as non-radiology departments (enterprise PACS / VNA /PACS II) in hospitals, clinics, (pathological) laboratories and private practices. The combination of both companies with an extensive PACS (I and II) and VNA solution offers a true hospital wide solution that is unique in the market.
The company will continue their business under the name RVC Medical IT. Both companies have been consolidated under the umbrella of a joint holding company.
