Guiding theme: “Shift of software companies towards recurring revenue models: benefits, challenges and best practices”
Since 2011, Main Capital hosts the annual Main Insight Event – this event offers a platform for CEOs, owners and C-level executives of mid-sized software companies to discuss important topics in the software ecosystem. Each year, the event is guided by a relevant business and/or industry theme, which will be discussed by high-profile, often international speakers. Speakers at previous events include Unit4, Xactly, SAP, Gartner, QlikTech and FinancialForce.
The 2017 Main Insight DACH edition will be the first edition solely focused on the software industry in the DACH countries. The event will deal with the shift towards recurring revenue models and the role cloud software can play in this transition. In The Netherlands, the Main Insight Event has continuously grown in popularity over the years; approx. 150 C-level executives attended the 2016 event. The established Dutch Main Insight Event series will be continued on an annual basis.
Charly Zwemstra (Managing Partner at Main Capital): “Companies with recurring revenue models benefit from more stable cash flows and thus lower risks, higher valuations and increased scalability when combined with cloud technology. As seasoned investor in software companies, we understand that making the move to such models is a critical business decision which also comes with uncertainty and challenges.
The Main Insight Event DACH 2017 will share valuable insights on this subject and serve as excellent networking platform for mid-sized software companies in the DACH countries.” The Main Insight Event DACH 2017 will take place in the InterContinental in Düsseldorf on 9 February 2016. The event will be held in German and attendance is free of charge. Registration will be open from mid-December. The Federal Association of IT-SMEs of Germany (BITMI) is Media Partner of the Main Insight Event DACH 2017.
