The competition for the most successful software company of the Netherlands is open! Dutch software companies can now apply for the 5thedition of the Main Software 50. Go to

Main Software 50, edition 2016 is initiated by Main Capital Partners and endorsed by trade association Nederland ICT and has the objective to give more visibility to the 50 most successful Dutch software companies and to profile the software industry as a whole in a better way! In November, the festive award ceremony will take place where various awards are presented, including the Overall winners (top 3), the Cloud Champion and the Fastest Growing company.

Previous editions were received with great interest, participation companies received much attention of both national and international parties. Some of the interested parties include: international media, large software companies, investors, research firms and potential business partners. Last year, we saw a tremendous average growth in revenue of 13% for participating companies. The revenue that comes from outside of Holland is getting more and more important; lst year this was a stunning 25%!

Big winners in the various categories were: Voiceworks, Fortes, Mavim, Spam Experts en Friss (Main 50 ranking 2015). Growth in the software industry continuous to be above-average. Nederland ICT predicts a growth of 5.3%. Certain software segments such as cloud applications, will continue to grow much faster: with 21% per year.
