The Hague, December 7, 2021 – xxllnc, Dutch leader in GovTech software, is expanding with the addition of Inforing. With more than 290 municipal customers, Inforing is a major player in the social domain. The add-on acquisition was the eighth for xxllnc in two years and was backed by software investor Main Capital Partners.
For more than 15 years Inforing has supported municipalities and welfare organizations with a Registration and Information (RIS) application in the field of debt assistance, with the aim of managing issues surrounding proactive debt counseling and social welfare. In the RIS application, a separate module is available for each issue. Inforing developed, for example, in cooperation with the municipality of Amsterdam, “RIS Vroeg Eropaf”, a module which focuses on the early detection of problematic debts.
To support important social projects in municipalities, Inforing offers “RIS Goede start”, for example, to increase the self-reliance of young vulnerable families. The software not only helps with the standardized rollout of the project, but also provides guidance and accountability through its links with BI tools.
Module in response to the Dutch childcare allowance affair
Recently, Inforing launched a software module in response to the childcare allowance affair (“toeslagenaffaire”), which led to many new requests from municipalities in a short period of time. The software helps municipalities to gain more insight into the development of the social and financial situation of those involved. By recording the support provided by the municipality, providing feedback on the situation to the Dutch Tax Authorities becomes much easier.
xxllnc, formerly known as Exxellence Group, started in 2001 as a spin-off from the University of Twente and grew into a software group with nearly 450 employees that provides a range of encompassing solutions for the (semi-) government. Since it came under the wings of Main Capital Partners in 2020, eight software companies have been added. With Pronexus’ software that focuses on the efficient execution of four municipal education tasks, we were already active in the social domain. With Inforing, we further strengthen this position. But we also enable smart, generic combinations, such as an integration with our product “Zaaksysteem” or with functionalities such as Single Sign on,’ says Michel Veenhuis, CEO of xxllnc.
