Main Capital Partners B.V. is a limited liability company established under the laws of the Netherlands, AFM licensed and registered in the Dutch trade register at the Chamber of Commerce under number 33294313, hereinafter “Main Capital Partners” or “we”.

This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data by Main Capital Partners with its possible participating interests and affiliates, hereinafter referred to collectively as Main Capital Partners

We are committed to ensuring that our service is open, honest and transparent. In this context, we believe it is important that you know exactly which personal data Main Capital Partners is collecting and for what purposes we use this personal data. In this privacy statement we describe this in a clear way. Main Capital Partners warrants that personal data are collected, used and removed in a careful manner and in accordance with the laws and regulations.

What do we use your personal data for?

Your personal data is processed by Main Capital Partners for the following purposes. The data is only used and stored for these purposes.

1. Human Resources Management

Details of individuals who apply to work at Main Capital Partners. We will only use the information they supply to us to process their application. We only disclose information to third parties, for example to take up a reference, when we obtained consent of the relevant individual and we will not disclose any information or take up any reference without informing them and without consent, unless the disclosure is required by law. To execute employment agreements: details of employees as prescribed by law.

2. Business relation management

Details of legal representatives of legal entities with whom we are engaged in business, details of contact persons.

3. To fulfil legal obligations

Details of UBO’s, details of employees for tax obligations.

4. For responding to queries and providing relevant information


Which personal information is collected?

Personal information that is collected is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes. Personal information will be destroyed or deleted if no longer necessary.

  • Name, address, postal code, city, country.
  • Other contact details such as telephone and e-mail address.
  • Necessary screening and employment information such as Resume, Copy ID, certificates, background checks.
  • KYC details such as UBO details as required by law.

Which principles apply?

Main Capital Partners only processes personal data if there is a legal basis for this, as prescribed in the General Data Protection Regulation. The following principles apply:

1. Execution of agreements

The processing of personal data is based on the ‚execution of the agreement‘. This also includes administration.

2. Consent

For sending of our newsletter to interested parties, the basis ‚consent‘ applies. Recipients of the newsletter can withdraw their consent at any time if they wish. Main Capital Partners also asks consent for placing tracking cookies.

3. Legitimate interest

Our legitimate interest to communicate with business relations, to provide fund management, and to be able to operate as a AFM licensed financial institution.

4. Complying with legal obligations

Main Capital Partners must process personal data because of a number of legal obligations, such as the Tax Retention Obligation and the 1990 Collection of State Taxes Act.

With whom does Main Capital Partners share your data?

In principle, we do not share your information with others. We only do this if it is necessary for the execution of our services or if we have a legal obligation. In that case, we will share data with:

1. Service providers working for Main Capital Partners

We work together with service providers who, among other things, build and manage our website and IT systems. Besides, a Depositary Service Provider is hired which monitors financial transactions and performance KYC checks on our investors. We make good agreements with them about their obligations and powers. We record these in contracts and processor agreements.

2. Tax authorities

In the case of tax requests, data can be shared with the tax authorities.

How long does Main Capital Partners store your personal data?

Main Capital Partners does not store your data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this privacy statement.

  • The storage period of our administration is seven years, in accordance with legal obligations. This includes the agreements entered into with you and the term starts after the contract has been terminated.
  • We keep your e-mail address as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter.

Your rights to access, modify, delete and object of personal data
