Main Software 50 Germany 2022

Although the main idea of the Main Software 50 event is to give acclaim and to show our well-deserved appreciation to outstanding companies in the sector, we complimented the event with two interesting panel discussions and a key note. This way, we were able to discuss relevant issues, encourage food-for-thought and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

We started off by discussing how software drives efficiency and quality within healthcare held by Volker Mielke and Thomas Unterhaslberger. This was followed by a keynote by Najat Messaoud (Director Azure BG, Germany) on Microsoft’s societal contribution of providing technologies like AI and resources to people that help save lives. Lastly, the second and last panel discussion was held, which focused on talent management and more specifically how to attract and retain talent for the software industry, and how to close the gap between the education system and labor market. This discussion was held by Andreas Meck (CEO Perbility), Stéphanie Kliner (CO-CEO enventa Group) and Alexander Senn (Head of People & Organization Siemens Smart Infrastructure).

After the award show there was of course plenty of time for our guests to meet with their industry colleagues over some food and cocktails.
