The Main Software 50 event is not only about handing out awards, but also about sharing knowledge. We started by looking back on 40 years software entrepreneurship with Chris Ouwinga (founder Unit4), Bob Janssen (founder RES Software) and Charly Zwemstra (founder Main).
Then we dove into cybercrime. Our key-note speaker Talitha Papelard from Northwave showed us the digital threats software companies are facing. A panel of experts (Mark de Groot, Lead ethical hacking team KPN, Marieke Saeij, CPTO FRISS, Bram Kaashoek, Managing Director Market Intelligence Main) then joined Talitha in the discussion on how you can protect your company against these threats.
We closed with the topic of quick commerce and its influence on B2B software, in an exciting panel discussion between e-commerce experts. And of course, there was plenty of time for our guests to meet with their industry colleagues.
The 1st Overall Champion is Textkernel, international leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Semantic.
The 2nd Overall Champion is Convious, end-to-end sales & marketing platform powered by Artificial Intelligence.
The 2022 3rd Overall Champion is E-WISE, provider of online education software.
The first ever Main Accelerator Award is presented to Tigris, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and staffing software player
The winner of the Highest Growth award, also goes to Convious.

On 17 November 2022, the Main Software 50 Benelux Awards took place at DeFabrique in Utrecht, the Netherlands. For the first time this year we expanded the ranking to Belgium.
On 30th November 2022, the first edition of the Main Software 50 Germany took place.
