Main Software 50 2021
On 11 November 2021, the Main Software 50 took place. During this tenth edition we experienced a fantastic afternoon with interesting speakers and an exciting award show together with our industry colleagues.
The Main Software 50 event is not only about handing out awards, but also about sharing knowledge. We started by looking back on 40 years software entrepreneurship with Chris Ouwinga (founder Unit4), Bob Janssen (founder RES Software) and Charly Zwemstra (founder Main).
Then we dove into cybercrime. Our key-note speaker Talitha Papelard from Northwave showed us the digital threats software companies are facing. A panel of experts (Mark de Groot, Lead ethical hacking team KPN, Marieke Saeij, CPTO FRISS, Bram Kaashoek, Managing Director Market Intelligence Main) then joined Talitha in the discussion on how you can protect your company against these threats.
We closed with the topic of quick commerce and its influence on B2B software, in an exciting panel discussion between e-commerce experts. And of course, there was plenty of time for our guests to meet with their industry colleagues.

We had the honor to reward Textkernel, Convious and E-WISE with the Overall Champion Awards. Convious also won the Highest Growth Award, and the first ever Main Accelerator Award went to Tigris.
