FOCONIS is a leading provider of data quality, control and compliance software for banks, designed to support financial institutions with internal reporting systems and to meet regulatory requirements. The solution is focused on banks in the German speaking regions, currently comprising 600+ customers in the financial services industry. The company’s main product, FOCONIS-ZAK®, consolidates data from different sources, encompassing public exchange data, data from banking associations, the customer’s existing data or other (un-)structured data. The system then analyzes and controls the processed data by applying a large set of rules. Where conspicuous business transactions are identified, ZAK initiates the resolution of compliance issues according to a firmly defined process including escalation paths.
