Main Capital appoints Jason Raats as Lead for Product, Tech & AI

Enhancing performance across the portfolio, and Main itself

The Hague – February 12, 2025 – Main Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm specialized in B-to-B enterprise software companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Raats as the new Lead for Product, Tech & AI within its Performance Excellence practice.

Jason joined Main Capital five years ago as the first hire in the dedicated research practice, Market Intelligence. He was responsible for collecting and analyzing data on trends and developments in the global enterprise software market. With a background in Computer Science and Data Science from Delft University of Technology, Jason previously worked as a software engineer and AI and machine learning specialist for Deloitte Digital.

Over the past five years, Jason has played a pivotal role in building the Market Intelligence practice to enhance the data-driven capabilities at Main Capital. He has worked closely with investment professionals and portfolio companies to substantiate smart investment and portfolio management decisions. Additionally, he organized the annual Main CTO Day and Main Tech Days, collaborating with tech partners of Main Capital, for hundreds of CTOs, CPOs, and lead engineers in Europe and the US.

In his new role as Product, Tech & AI Lead, Jason will oversee the integration of cutting-edge technologies and AI-driven solutions to enhance the performance of our portfolio companies and Main Capital Partners itself. This appointment underscores our commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and leveraging AI to create value and drive growth. Jason will advise portfolio companies on decisions regarding their technology stack, product integration and migration scenarios, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. He will report to Bram Kaashoek, Main Capital’s Chief Operating Officer, who leads the Market Intelligence and Performance Excellence practice.
