BCS HR Software acquires HR communications solutions provider Plek with support from Main Capital Partners

BCS HR Software, a renowned software specialist in Human Resource Management and Payroll software, announces the successful acquisition of Plek, a Dutch provider of employee engagement and internal communication solutions.

The acquisition represents the eighth add-on since BCS partnered with Main Capital Partners in April 2022 and further strengthens BCS’ position as a comprehensive European HR software provider.

With more than 45 years of experience, BCS is a reliable player in the HR and payroll software sector for both large and small companies. BCS offers a comprehensive HR and Payroll solution covering everything from absenteeism and payroll to flexible benefits and learning management.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Plek is a SaaS company that provides a user-friendly, mobile-accessible platform for internal communication, onboarding, employee feedback, and engagement. The software is multilingual, used in 16 countries, and designed for international scalability. The company has a customer base with over 200 organizations across sectors such as healthcare, construction, government, and professional services. Customer examples are MedicPlek, Rivas, Zeeman, TBI, Building Materials Netherlands, and LKQ Benelux-France. Plek is designed to improve communication and engagement among employees across a wide range of roles, locations, and working environments.

Complementary product offering
Plek’s offering is highly complementary to BCS’ existing HR and payroll solutions. While BCS provides the operational core, such as employee administration, salary processing, and employee learning solutions, Plek adds the engagement and communication layer that enables employees to interact with these HR processes in an accessible and intuitive way. By integrating Plek into the broader BCS offering, clients benefit from a seamless connection between back-end HR systems and a front-end employee experience. This allows organizations to manage workflows, communication, and engagement within a single, integrated environment. With the acquisition of Plek, the combined BCS organization now employs approximately 220 people.
