The acquisition of ERP Novum marks a pivotal step in enventa Group's mission to create an integrated suite of business software, offering their customers an even more comprehensive set of solutions. Additionally, the group increases its footprint within the packaging and e-commerce sector, thereby taking an important step in further establishing itself as a wholistic ERP vendor for various trade verticals in the German-speaking SME-market.
Founded in 2009 as a joint venture with Nissen & Velten, ERP Novum is an expert with respect to enventa’s software suite. Next to selling enventa products to its customers, ERP Novum develops its own modules that sit on top of the enventa ecosystem, which thereby complement the partner’s product offering. ERP Novum serves medium-sized customers in the technical trade, packaging as well as e-commerce industries, the latter two being verticals in which enventa is not yet overly present. The firm serves more than 50 clients, including the likes of Moosmann, Musik Meyer, or alpha Bürobedarf.
With the addition of ERP Novum, enventa significantly expands its vertical focus, thereby providing a beneficial extension of enventa’s reach while offering strong cross- and up-sell potential. ERP Novum has developed its own modules on top of enventa’s technical trade solutions ERP offering, leading to a strong fit not only from a functionality perspective but also from a technological point of view.
Stéphanie Kliner, Co-CEO of enventa Group, comments: “Our aim is to be a wholistic vendor of ERP software to SMEs in the DACH region. With the acquisition of our long-term partner, ERP Novum, we are taking another important step in the right direction by adding new verticals and functionalities to our offering.”
Daniel Plohnke, Co-CEO of enventa Group, adds: “We are thrilled to further our relationship with ERP Novum, a partner who we have reliably worked with side by side for many years. Given the compatibility of enventa and ERP Novum, we expect the group to benefit immediately from the combination.”
Sven van Berge Henegouwen, Managing Partner at Main Capital Partners, concludes: “Having been in close contact with ERP Novum for a long time on an operational level, we are pleased about furthering the partnership between the two firms and excited to unlock the benefits that lie within the combination. We are confident that our focused organic growth initiatives coupled with a selective buy-and-build strategy will continue to improve the group’s value proposition towards existing and new customers.”
