The two solutions, which have been managed and further developed by becon in recent years, will be fully reintegrated into i-doit’s product organization.
The ISMS and VIVA2 add-ons originally emerged within the i-doit ecosystem and were further developed and positioned in the market by becon over several years. With the return of product responsibility, both solutions are now once again centrally bundled within i-doit. The objective is a clear division of roles within the shared ecosystem, in which product development and platform responsibility reside with i-doit, while market-oriented integration and consulting expertise continue to be provided by becon.
The measure is part of the overarching portfolio strategy of the i-doit group, through which the company is further sharpening its product organization and laying the foundation for the focused further development of its solution portfolio. In parallel, becon is increasingly focusing its efforts on its own product solutions and key future topics such as integration, automation, IT security, and regulatory requirements.
With the clear separation of product responsibility and integration as well as consulting expertise, i-doit and becon are strengthening their respective roles and creating a robust foundation for further growth.
Our goal is to clearly position ISMS and baseline security solutions within the i-doit environment, to develop them consistently, and to offer customers and partners a reliable, long-term perspective.”
Constantin Schröder, CEO of the i-doit group: “With the return of ISMS and VIVA2 to the i-doit group, we are reviving products that originally emerged from our ecosystem and are closely connected to i-doit. In doing so, we are once again assuming full product responsibility and ensuring that integration, operation, and further development are delivered from a single source. Our goal is to clearly position ISMS and baseline security solutions within the i-doit environment, to develop them consistently, and to offer customers and partners a reliable, long-term perspective.”
