The combination results in a European Document Powerhouse with presence across multiple end-markets and verticals, offering a diversified and modern product offering. Main Capital Partners holds a majority stake in both Omnidocs and Xential and will remain the majority shareholder after the transaction, where Xential will become a part of the Omnidocs Group. Main is actively seeking strategic combinations to build larger software groups and an additional major combination in the DACH-region will be announced as of next week.
Omnidocs, a Danish provider specializing in document automation and generation solutions, delivers integrated software to enhance productivity and compliance for public sector organizations and and other regulated industries, including several multinational enterprises across the globe. The software integrates seamlessly with other enterprise applications and consists of document generation, automation and accessibility products as well as productivity modules. Omnidocs partnered with Main in January 2024. In April 2024, Omnidocs realized the first add-acquisition of Danish document creation software provider Dania Software to facilitate a leading position in the Nordics market while expanding the product suite and market reach within the public domain of document creation.
Xential is a leading Document Creation & Collaboration player within the Benelux and DACH regions, focused on providing public sector clients with a range of templating and document collaboration tools. Xential partnered up with Main in July 2023. In July 2024, Xential closed its first add-on acquisition being Dutch productivity tool provider Eformity.

Collectively, the Omnidocs Group of about 136 FTE will serve more than 800 software customers in Europe and the U.S., including PwC, De Rechtsspraak, Arcadis.
