Headquartered in Taastrup, Denmark, Auto IT is a trusted software provider for Danish car dealerships, importers and other automotive retail stakeholders. Founded in 2012 by Danish car dealers, Auto IT combines deep sector knowledge with a strong understanding of dealership workflows. Its core platform, AutoDesktop, supports sales and operational processes and is complemented by solutions for vehicle listings, consent management and tax calculations, including Biltorvet.dk, Samtykke.net and Estimatic.
Founded in 1996, UnameIT is a Dutch provider of automotive software solutions for dealers, independent automotive businesses, importers and leasing companies in the Benelux. Its product suite includes SAM for order and sales management, LEF for lead management, MAX for marketing automation, Claire for aftersales management, and other complementary solutions.
The transaction marks UnameIT’s second add-on acquisition since partnering with Main in 2025 and supports its international growth ambitions. As automotive retail continues to digitize, demand is increasing for integrated software solutions that improve sales, customer interaction, compliance and operational efficiency.
