Your opportunity: Product & Tech Analyst

As a Product & Tech Analyst, you will help portfolio companies translate product and technology opportunities into concrete initiatives, ensuring that projects related to product management, platform modernization, security, and technology scalability are structured and executed effectively.

By supporting improvements in product strategy, technology architecture, and engineering processes, you help ensure that portfolio companies can scale their platforms, improve product quality, and deliver sustainable growth.

In addition, you will support investment teams during the evaluation of new investment opportunities by assessing product capabilities, technology architecture, and potential technical risks within target companies. You will help build a clear view of the maturity of a company’s product organization, its technology stack, and the opportunities for further improvement after investment.

From an investment perspective, you contribute to value creation and risk management by translating product and technology insights into actionable recommendations for both deal teams and portfolio company leadership.

Tasks include:

  • Support product and technology value creation initiatives across the portfolio by identifying opportunities to improve product management, engineering processes, and technology architecture;
  • Help portfolio companies design and implement product and technology improvement initiatives, including product strategy, roadmap development, and engineering best practices;
  • Support initiatives related to technology stack modernization, platform scalability, and cloud migration;
  • Collaborate with deal teams to assess product capabilities, technology architecture, and technical risks in potential investment targets during due diligence;
  • Analyze the product maturity and technology landscape of prospective and existing portfolio companies;
  • Support portfolio companies in improving product management processes, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration between product and engineering teams;
  • Contribute to the development of technology and product best practices, playbooks, and frameworks that can be reused across the portfolio;
  • Help translate product and technology insights into concrete improvement roadmaps and value creation plans;
  • Stay up to date with developments in software architecture, product management practices, cloud technologies, and security, and share relevant insights with portfolio companies and internal teams.

Why you would be a good fit for us:

  • You have completed a university education (WO) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field;
  • You enjoy working at the intersection of technology, product development, and business impact, translating technical opportunities into practical initiatives with measurable results;
  • You are comfortable operating on both a strategic and hands-on level: from identifying improvement opportunities to supporting implementation and monitoring progress;
  • You enjoy switching between product strategy, technology architecture, and investment perspectives, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can make a tangible impact;
  • You have 1–3 years of relevant experience, for example as a Software Engineer, Product Analyst, Technology Analyst, Technology Consultant, or in a similar role where you worked on software products or technology-driven initiatives;
  • You have a solid understanding of modern software architectures, cloud platforms, and product development processes;
  • Experience with technology assessments, software architecture reviews, or technology due diligence is a strong plus;
  • You are comfortable analyzing technology stacks, engineering processes, security practices, and product development workflows within organizations;
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy structuring complex technological topics into clear insights for business stakeholders;
  • You have strong social and communication skills and integrity, and you enjoy working closely with deal teams and management teams;
  • Excellent command of English and Dutch, both spoken and written, is required. German or French is a plus.

Why work with us:

  • Entrepreneurial, fun, young, and dedicated team within an informal and open corporate culture;
  • Gain experience, knowledge, and insight into a leading sector-focused investment fund in the fast-growing software sector;
  • Get involved in dynamic and interesting projects quickly;
  • Early responsibility;
  • A steep learning curve and career progression;
  • Competitive benefits package, including (healthy) lunches every day and a generous Company Fitness plan.
