Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Heerhugowaard, the Netherlands, VWE is a provider of automotive software, data and workflow solutions that support critical processes across the automotive value chain. The company employs approximately 150 full-time employees and serves more than 10,000 customers, primarily in the Netherlands, including universal and independent dealers, leasing companies, insurers, workshops and fleet operators. Main will support VWE and its experienced management team in its next phase of growth by leveraging its expertise in scaling (automotive) software companies. VWE’s growth strategy will focus on accelerating organic growth, further developing its data-driven solutions, and pursuing a targeted international buy-and-build strategy.

VWE Automotive is a Dutch provider of software, data and transaction services for the automotive sector. Since its establishment in 1993, VWE has supported automotive companies and other participants in the automotive value chain in digitalising and optimising their day-to-day processes. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
