The Main Insight Event Nordics is hosted annually as a knowledge-sharing and networking platform for our close community of C-level software executives across the Nordics region. This years' event was held in The Grand Hôtel, Stockholm and covered the topic: Internationalization as a growth driver.

On February 15th we held the annual Main Insight Event Nordics at the Grand Palace in Stockholm. The event, aiming to inspire, form connections and drive knowledge-sharing, drew in many attendees from across the Nordics region.

Driven by scalability, internationalization is a top priority for many software entrepreneurs. In order to be successful, preparation is key. With this in mind, the topic of the event was how to drive international growth. Several panel discussions and key notes were held, which all resulted in meaningful discussions and interesting key takeaways. The event was closed off over some drinks and bites, during which attendees had the opportunities to connect.

The event was co-hosted by Bram Kaashoek (Partner and Head of Market Intelligence & Performance Excellence at Main Capital Partners) and Wessel Ploegmakers (Partner and Co-Head at Main Capital Partners) and the moderation was done by Lynda Nyberg (Chief Communication Officer at Novatron Fusion Group and Board Professional). We hosted an excellent selection of speakers who shared their views, expertise and experiences on the topic at hand:

  • Oliver Sicco (Chief Commercial Officer at Pointsharp)
  • Per Jansson (Program Manager Digital Technology at Business Sweden)
  • Bram Kuijper (VP Alliances Europe at Basware)
  • Barbara Wozniak (Associate at EY Parthenon)
  • Gunnar Albamark (Partner at EY Parthenon)
  • Joel Sjögren (Director at EY Parthenon)

The key takeaways of the event were:

  • Whenever you consider building a partnering network it’s all about proper onboarding, enablement (determining joint value), partner types and territories (deciding where to start first). These are the key elements.
  • Differentiation is localized. Selecting a market with strong fundamentals for segments for which we can provide a strong value proposition and gain commercial traction within the resource constraints we have.

The Main Insight Event Nordics 2023 was a great success. We thank our speakers and chairman of the day and we look forward to the next edition in 2024.
