Paragin Group acquires student development solutions provider Xebic

Xebic marks Paragin’s third add-on acquisition, having already joined forces with STEM-based assessment software specialist SOWISO (2022) and exam & course management software provider Coachview (2023). Together with Xebic, Paragin Group establishes itself as a true best-of-breed provider of solutions for the development and assessment of knowledge, skills and competencies of students.

Xebic is a developer of multi-tenant SaaS solutions for educational institutions that streamline administrative and assessment processes focused on student development, as well as internship management and handing in papers and projects. The acquisition of Xebic marks a key milestone in Paragin’s growth strategy to become a market leading EdTech group across its core market segments in the broader EdTech space, solidifying its unique value proposition as the most comprehensive assessment & examination vendor across the student lifecycle.

Paragin offers a suite of solutions geared towards supporting people’s lifelong development of knowledge, skills and competencies to help them reach their full potential across the student lifecycle and in their further careers. Xebic offers several solutions that neatly tie into Paragin’s existing offering and align well with Paragin’s overall product strategy. For instance, Paragin can complement its leading assessment software (its Remindo product) with more specialized grading capabilities from Xebic’s GradeWork solution, while also complementing its suite with broader exam management solutions that help educational institutions manage all logistics of examinations through Xebic’s OnTrac offering. These integrations will help the installed base of the combined group define and leverage new use cases to further automate and optimize the student journey and teacher’s workday alike.
