What you’ll bring

An academic education relevant to the position (Business Administration, Business Information Management, Economics, Econometrics, Technical University with an MBA or BA minor).
Max. 1–2 years of experience in either consultancy (e.g., commercial strategy or pricing, or CDD) or in an operational role at a tech or software company (e.g., RevOps, (sales) operations, growth or commercial strategy). Starters with relevant internships in these fields are also invited to apply.
Strong analytical skills for performing commercial and operational data analysis in excel to retrieve the right insights.
High integrity, strong social and communication skills, allowing you to communicate well with the PX team, deal teams of Main, and management teams of the portfolio companies.
The ability to translate commercial analysis and insights into practical, actionable suggestions for our portfolio companies.
A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently and to thrive in dynamic environments.
Knowledge of the Go-to-Market domain, such as marketing automation (tools), lead generation, sales methodologies, direct and indirect sales channels, preferably in a b2b SaaS setting.
You have an excellent English and Dutch command in word and writing.

What you’ll do:

In this Analyst role you will support our portfolio companies with solving commercial challenges, mostly related to marketing automation, sales (channel) optimization and pricing. You will work together with the GTM & Topline Growth Lead within the Performance Excellence team, colleagues from the deal team and management of portfolio companies. The work will be performed partly at our office in The Hague and partly on location at our portfolio companies.

The tasks include:

Contribute to playbooks: contribute to new or updated playbooks through gathering best practices
Facilitate meetings and workshops: communicate insights and recommendations to deal teams and portfolio companies
Analyze and improve Marketing & Sales performance: based on predefined and measured commercial KPIs
Define customer segmentation & targeting: defining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and developing the value proposition for this audience, including pain points and solutions.
Improve partnership & channel strategy: assess partner ecosystem performance and suggest strategies to strengthen indirect sales channels.
Improve retention & expansion: analyzing churn, upsell, and cross-sell to create paths for revenue growth among existing customers.
Optimize pricing & packaging: improving pricing models by applying the right packaging, metrics, and price points.
