Why You’ll Be a Great Fit?

  • You excel in communication and social skills, balancing dedication and hard work with a fun-loving attitude. Bilingual
  • You are born and predominantly educated in France with an excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant professional experience (including internships) within the PE/M&A sector.
  • Your strong analytical skills and understanding of financial and management accounting set you apart.
  • You have a keen interest in Software/IT companies or a strong desire to learn about them.
  • You can work independently and set priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • You have, or are close to obtaining, an Academic Master’s in Finance, Business or Economics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the entire investment process as an active member of the investment team.
  • Proactively engage with potential dealflow and portfolio companies in the French market.
  • Analyze company and market information, establish financial models, and provide insights into investment and financing proposals.
  • Prepare Investment Proposals, assist with Quarterly Reporting, and organize events.
  • Support Senior Investment Managers and Partners in daily activities and assist portfolio companies with strategic developments.
  • Support in establishing a strong French network in an entrepreneurial setting with sufficient room for own initiative.

Interviews & Case Study

You will undergo several in-person interviews, either on the same day or spread over a period of time. The interview process can be rigorous, but it’s also meant to give you the opportunity to get to know us better too and see whether there’s a match on both ends. Depending on the role, we will ask you to conduct a specifically designed case study. This way we can assess your skills and you’ll know what to expect when working at Main. We’ll let you know early on about any additional information and materials you’ll need in order for you to be able to prepare well.
