The Performance Excellence Team supports portfolio companies by implementing improvement programs, helping them implement standards (standard financial & KPI reporting) and identifying, capturing and sharing best practices through handbooks.

  • You have an academic education relevant to the position (Economics, Finance and / or Business Administration);
  • You have 1-2 years of work experience in a financial / analytical role with a basic understanding of the private markets industry and private equity fund structures;
  • You have experience with preparing pitchbooks and presentations;
  • You have an excellent command of English and Dutch in word and writing;
  • You have affinity with Software/IT companies or would like to learn all about them.

What your key responsibilities will be:

  • You will be involved in the entire fundraising process as an active part of team;
  • You will maintain contact with current and potential investors about the performance of the funds;
  • You will prepare material for (institutional) investor events and meetings, annual general meetings and advisory board meetings of the various funds;
  • You will support the preparation of fund documentation for new funds, (co-)coordination and consultation with legal and tax advisors regarding fund structuring;
  • Maintaining the CRM system to ensure that information related to current and potential investors is up to date and complete;
  • Assisting in sending out capital call, distributions, fund updates and other correspondence to current investors through the investor portal.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop into an all-round Investor Relations professional. In the initial period you will mostly support the team with periodic and ad hoc data requests and developing analytical insights and marketing materials. As you develop in the role, the role will become more commercial as you will be directly interacting with existing and prospective investors.

Depending on the role, we will ask you to conduct a specifically designed case study. This way we can assess your skills and you’ll know what to expect when working at Main. We’ll let you know early on about any additional information and materials you’ll need in order for you to be able to prepare well.
